The ED-Betas when used with special "ED Beta" metal tape will yield 500 lines of resolution -- blowing away even DVD! It came with the a Sony RMT-166 Remote. Some of its features are: Plays Beta I, II and III and Records Beta II, & III Speeds, Flying Erase Head, Line 1 and 2 Inputs and Outputs, Front Panel Inputs, Tape Remain and Tape Return. Also has some Digital Effects, such as Still and Digital Scan and a Switchable AC outlet.
